Dr. Nana Akua Abruquah

Dr. Nana Akua Abruquah is a resident family physician proficient in project oversight and delivery, resulting in primary healthcare service improvements and impactful community education. She is a skilled collaborator with local and international partners on public health interventions, and has won with other collaborators several research grants to undertake antimicrobial stewardship in the fight against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in Ghana.

She is experienced in needs assessment, data collection, policy analysis, community oriented primary care and COVID-19 clinical trials. She has strong communication skills for both medical and non-medical audiences and delivered several presentations locally and internationally.

She is currently a trainee on the Structured Operational Research and Training Initiative (SORT IT), an operational research and training consortium of the World Health Organization.

She has published several peer reviewed journal articles in different aspects of primary care and antimicrobial resistance.
