The ceremony, which was under the chairmanship of Prof. Peter Quartey, who is also Board Chair of the DIH, attracted monitoring and evaluation practitioners, decision and policy makers, academia, researchers, international development experts, the media, and students.
Prominent amongst other speakers at the ceremony included Head of Civil Service, Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh (who delivered the keynote address), Acting Director General of National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), Dr. Audrey Smock Amoah and Prof. Charles Amoatey. The rest are Madam Dede Bedu-Addo, President of the Ghana Monitoring and Evaluation Forum (GMEF), Prof. Dugan Ian Fraser, who is the Programme Manager of Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) and Mr. Eugene Elorm Adzraku, DIH’s Advisor on Environmental Stewardship, Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation.
One of DIH’s flagship programmes is the Young Evaluators Community of Practice (YECoP), which is a mentoring programme for young and emerging evaluators.
