- Emmanuel Boadi
Emmanuel Boadi has over 30 years of professional experience in strategic planning, designing, managing, monitoring, and evaluation of large-scale and complex programs, including health, capacity development, and population and development programmes across Africa. His proven track record includes resource mobilization, forging strategic partnerships across diverse stakeholders, and managing complex donor programs, consistently achieving high financial and programmatic performances. Since 2014, Emmanuel has served as the Project Manager, and Head of the UNDP Global Fund funded Project Management Unit (PMU) in Zimbabwe. He has led the mobilization and signing of grants, including C19RM, totalling over $2.6 billion since he assumed the role of Project Manager.
Prior to assuming this position, Emmanuel had served as the M&E Specialist at UNDP, M&E Team Leader of the USAID-funded Ghana Sustainable Change Project (2007-2009); Program Manager, Pathfinder International Ghana Country Office (2006); Regional M&E/Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) Technical Officer for Pathfinder International under the Bill & Belinda Gates Foundation-funded 5-year African Youth Alliance Program (AYA) in Ghana, Tanzania, and Botswana (2003-2005); Head of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, National Population Council Secretariat (1997-June 2003); Program Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation), Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana, with additional responsibility for the UNDP-funded Climate Change Project (1996); Program Officer, PAB Development Consults, Tema, Ghana (1995); and Research Assistant at the Population Impact Project, University of Ghana (1989-1990).
Emmanuel holds a master’s degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway, and a certificate in Research and Evaluation for Program Development from the University of Connecticut, USA.
