Andrew Asibey

Andrew has over 40 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation and development evaluation generally. He spent 15 years working in program evaluation with the Federal Government of Canada and its allied agencies, including the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and the National Research Council of Canada. Andrew worked with the World Bank for 10 years as a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and has continued to work on World Bank projects as a consultant for the past 8 years for a total of 18 years working for the World Bank. Andrew has experience in conducting in-depth evaluations of development projects such as mid-term reviews (MTR) and implementation completion results reports (ICR), covering a broad range of sectors including environment, agriculture, financial management and governance. Andrew has carried over 10 MTRs and ICRs over the past nine years. Andrew lived in Nairobi, Kenya for 7 years from January 1996 to March 2003 and in Pretoria, South Africa for three (3) years from November 2006 to November 2009. He has traveled extensively in all the Eastern and Southern African countries to provide M&E support to various organizations and institutions.
