Mr. Eugene Elorm Adzraku is a certified Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist, a Sustainability and Climate Change Specialist who provides innovative and effective solutions for environmental and social risk management, sustainability, Environemntal & Social Management Frameworks (ESMFs), Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), Climate change, GHG inventory and assessment, Environmental engineering, Safeguards, Environmental reporting, Cleaner production, Social relations, Stakeholder engagement, among many other areas of expertise.

He holds an MSc. (Environmental Sustainability) from the University College Dublin, Ireland, and a BSc. (Environmental Science) from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana. He is a Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), UK, a Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) with the Society for the Environment (SocEnv), UK, a Member of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), an Associate Member of the Ghana Institute of Safety and Environmental Professionals (GhISEP), and a Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Ghana Chapter. Mr. Adzraku has obtained several professional certificates from the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)-UK, The World Bank, Athena Global Education-UK, Oxford Climate Society-UK, the Project Management Institute (PMI), Environmental Protection Agency-Ghana, Udemy, Inc., Global Association of Risk Professionals, Alison, ED Consults, and Merjja Technologies. These credentials and certifications have enhanced his standing as a leading environmental sustainability specialist, and contributed to his extensive professional network.

With over 10 years of active experience, he has worked with diverse teams in both the local and international space on complex projects. As a highly skilled data collection specialist, he deploys a combination of field observations, techniques, and analytical tools for ambient air, water, soil quality analysis, socio-economics surveys, to detect changes and potential threats to biodiversity and human health, towards identifying and mitigating risks, enhancing environmental sustainability, and excellent social performance.

He is engaged in an individual consultant capacity as the Program Coordinator (Environmental and Social) by the Ministry of Finance (Ghana) on the World Bank funded program, Public Financial Management for Service Delivery (PFM4SD) program. He is also an Environmental and Social Safeguards Consultant/Impact Assessment Specialist for the Institute of Environmental Assessment (IOEA), and also the Lead Environmental and Social Consultant at JEYDAK BUSINESS SOLUTIONS where he is involved in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing of projects, as the Managing Partner. As a Climate Risk Assessment Expert at ENVI-LOGICA CONSULT LTD, he is the lead specialist on projects in quantification of the main direct and indirect GHG emissions, and providing mitigation to reduce GHG emissions for clientele. He is also engaged by other distinguished consulting firms as an Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist.

During a four (4) year period, He was the lead Environmental and Social Safeguards Expert/Head of Environment Unit at CONTRACTA CONSTRUCTION UK LTD (GHANA) on four (4) major National projects, and also previously served as Senior Environmental Consultant/Project Manager at NATURESOLUTIONS LTD where he prepared proposals, environmental impact assessment reports, preliminary environmental reports, environmental audit reports, environmental management plans, among several other aspects of environmental and social practise, and also undertook awareness creation training for industrial partners.

Mr. Adzraku has been at the forefront of the supporting partners to implement the UNIDO’s Cleaner Production (CP) techniques and the UNEP’s Promoting Resource Efficiency for water, energy, input materials, chemicals, and waste minimization with adherence to both local and international regulations

such as the EPA Act, 1994 (Act 490), GSA Act, FDA Act, REACH102, RoHS Directive, WEEE, Kyoto protocol, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18000.
